Chief of Staff

Wendy oversees standards, operations and admin at Mt. View CPAS. She works with the staff to ensure they have the proper training and is responsible to ensure that the work we do is up to par with state, federal and industry requirements. Wendy graduated Cum Laude from Brigham Young University and has over 25 years of accounting and tax experience. Wendy has worked with all aspects of bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, financial statement audit, payroll preparation, payroll tax compliance, individual, business and estate tax preparation as well as tax planning and IRS conflict resolution. As a CPA, she has successfully represented clients before the IRS as well as various state agencies. She is a QuickBooks Online Certified Pro Advisor. Wendy was also an adjunct instructor in the accounting program at Centralia Community College for several years. Wendy has volunteered with her church youth group, the gymnastics booster club, Girl Scouts and AARP volunteer income tax center. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her 5 kids, photography, scrapbooking and watching her daughters’ gymnastics and cheer competitions.

Director of Administration

Skyheart leads, oversees, and communicates the execution of the company’s administrative services. Skyheart maintains the company’s internal accounting information system. She also maintains and directs the operations of all the company’s human resource management tasks to include staffing, performance evaluation, training, implementing, and maintaining company policies and procedures. Skyheart is from the Philippines, she speaks both English and Tagalog, and is currently learning Spanish. Skyheart acquired her Bachelor’s in Business Management June of 2020 at Centralia College. While attending Centralia College, she was the #1 speaker on campus, Trio Club President and the first mentor of M2IND program. She was also a part of Centralia College Student Government and held the Senator for Student Advocacy position, served within the Student Policy Council, Diversity, and Sustainability committee. Skyheart enjoys writing, poetry, reading, art, spirituality, playing pool, bowling, playing guitar, hiking, collecting rocks, and exploring the unknown. She also strives to learn the meaning and purpose of life; to gain greater consciousness and understanding; and to formulate a philosophy of her own. 

Lead Support Staff - AP/AR

Jenn is a dedicated member of our CPA office's Support staff, bringing a wealth of experience and diverse skills to our team. With a strong background in customer service and administrative support tasks, Jennifer excels in greeting customers, answering phones, and providing exceptional service to our clients. Her attention to detail and organizational skills are evident in her filing, invoicing, and recurring payment tasks, as well as her expertise in packaging tax returns. Jenn's previous roles as a business owner, office manager, and billing specialist have honed her ability to handle various responsibilities efficiently. Beyond her professional endeavors, she has pursued education in medical secretarial work, early childhood development, fashion design/merchandising, and architecture, demonstrating her passion for continuous learning and personal growth. In her spare time, Jenn enjoys volunteering with Girl Scouts as a co-leader of a multilevel, super troop and the Service Unit Manager for Lewis County. Jenn enjoys indulging in hobbies such as sewing, crafting, reading, baking, and camping. She can often be found in her home office running her vinyl business, in her kitchen whipping up a culinary delight or out in the community with her Girl Scouts. Jenn's commitment to excellence and her diverse skill set makes her an invaluable asset to our CPA office and the clients we serve. 

Station Chief

Jason makes sure our firm has sufficient work and coordinates our services to ensure we meet our deadlines. Jason graduated from Centralia College with his bachelor’s degree. While at Centralia College he was the first club president of the Forensic Accounting club and the first site coordinator for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Center (VITA). Jason loves to read and write. He was a published poet at 13. Jason also likes bowling; his high score is 278. He loves cats. He has one cat that is a full-fledged diva named Simba. 

Assistant Station Chief

Ashley started working for Mt.View January of 2022 after moving to Washington from Florida. She has her Associates Degree in Business Management and Accounting, currently working on acquiring her Bachelor's degree. She provides services to our Accounting & Advisory clients. She handles a variety of state taxes (monthly, quarterly, and annually) for multiple states, monthly bank reconciliation, tax preparation etc. She also handles the reporting on the tax side of the Morton office. On her free time, she likes to spend time with her family, and a wide variety of fur babies (dogs, cats, horses, mules, etc.). 

Support Staff

Jennifer is responsible for greeting new and existing clients and delivering exceptional customer service assistance. She also handles a variety of administrative support tasks, including answering phones, assisting clients/visitors, issuing invoices, receiving payments, preparing meetings and training rooms, sorting and distributing mail, scanning files, etc. She retired from King County Superior Court clerk’s office. She also volunteers for the Glenoma fire department.

Station Chief

Sherryl started working for Mt. View CPAs at the Centralia Office in April of 2022. She graduated with her Bachelor’s in Accounting June of 2022 and fell in love with Mt. View CPAs during an internship in her last quarter at Centralia College. She came to Mt. View with 17 years of experience in management and corporate accounting/bookkeeping. She provides services to Accounting, Tax, and Advisory clients in East Lewis County and virtual clients alike. She is also responsible for overseeing all work produced in the Morton office. She enjoys pushing herself to learn and accomplish new things. She recently passed all 3 exams to earn her Enrolled Agent License. She enjoys spending her free time with her family. She has an amazing husband and is a proud mother of 4 and a proud grandmother of 1.  

Staff Accountant

Anna started working for Mt. View CPAs May of 2022 after retiring from a career as a controller in the auto industry, primarily Ford and Volkswagen. She was responsible for all accounting transactions and financial records within the dealership, as well as compiling the financial statement. After retiring, she found she

missed the work but not the hours of long commuting. Mt. View CPAs provides the opportunity to do the work she likes but with a minimal commute. She enjoys spending time with her husband, dogs, and family.

Assurance Division Station Chief

Hannah oversees all the bookkeeping, payroll, audit, review, and other accounting or assurance services at the Centralia office. If your business is located in Thurston County or northern Lewis County, she is your primary contact for accounting services. Hannah graduated from Centralia College and has lived in Lewis County all her life. She currently serves as the treasurer for Boys and Girls Club of Lewis County. Outside of the office, Hannah enjoys playing board games, attending her church, and spending time with family and friends.

Assurance Clerk

Emily started working for Mt. View CPAs in January 2020 as the Centralia Support Staff. She was promoted to Staff Accountant after completing her degree from Centralia College in June 2023. Emily is also one of our bilingual speakers - she is fluent in Spanish. Emily has lived in Lewis County her whole life. Her favorite pastimes are hanging out with friends, family and going shopping on the weekends.
